Mullen & Henzell is pleased to announce that we are accepting first year (1L) or second year (2L) law student applicants for our 2027 Summer Associate Program. We are looking for bright, hardworking students with good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
As a summer associate you will have the opportunity to work with attorneys in our various practice areas receiving exposure to transaction work, litigation, employment law and estates and trusts.
Location: This is an in-person position. Our main office is in downtown Santa Barbara just one block from the Courthouse.
Compensation: Summer Associate compensation is $1,635 per week, paid bi-weekly.
Requirements: For consideration, please submit your resume, a cover letter explaining your interest in our firm, and your current law school transcript as well as a writing sample. Your writing sample should be 3 to 5 pages long and include legal analysis. Please address all items to Shelly Perez, Manager, People & Culture.
